Irivo Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Irivo mobile application and platform. By accessing or using Irivo, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years or older to use Irivo
- You must register with accurate information, including a verified email and phone number
- Location permissions are required for service functionality
2. Use of the Platform
- Users may request pickups for packages delivered to their address
- Neighbors may accept requests and are expected to fulfill them within the agreed timeframe
- All pickups must follow safety and courtesy standards outlined in our Code of Conduct
- Users can schedule pickups up to 5 days in advance
- Packages must be labeled clearly with pickup access instructions
3. Payment and Fees
- Users may be charged a service fee per pickup request
- Neighbors earn $1.00 per successful pickup completion
- Bonuses may be available for pickup streaks or emergency response
- Fees are subject to change with advance notice
- Cancellations are free within 10 minutes of request; late cancellations may incur charges
4. Ratings and Feedback
- Mutual ratings are required after each pickup transaction
- 2-way reviews ensure accountability for both users and neighbors
- Ratings below 3.0 may trigger account review and restrictions
- Repeated low ratings may result in removal from the platform
5. Account Requirements
For Users (Neighbors in Need)
- 18+ with verified mobile phone and email address
- Complete app walkthrough and profile setup
- Agree to Community Trust & Operations Framework
For Neighbors (Helpers)
- 18+ with verified ID and address confirmation
- Complete onboarding process and Code of Conduct agreement
- Pass safety quiz and complete test pickup if required
- Re-verification may be required every 12 months
6. Trust & Safety Procedures
- All pickup requests require mutual ratings upon completion
- Disputes are handled within 48-72 hours by our support team
- Severe violations (theft, threats, harassment) result in immediate suspension
- No-shows or reliability issues may trigger cooldown periods or account removal
7. Disputes and Resolution
- Submit issues via the in-app support system
- Irivo will investigate and resolve disputes within 3 business days
- Our escalation team handles safety and legal concerns
- Support available 9 AM–9 PM EST via live chat
8. Account Suspension and Termination
Irivo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violations of Terms of Service or Code of Conduct
- Fraudulent activities or attempted system manipulation
- Repeated no-shows or unreliable service
- Safety violations or inappropriate behavior
- Failure to maintain required verification standards
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Limitation of Liability
Irivo acts as a platform connecting users with neighbors for package pickup services. We facilitate these connections but are not responsible for the actual pickup services, package handling, or disputes between users and neighbors.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app, and continued use constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
12. Community Standards
All users must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which outlines expectations for respectful, safe, and reliable community participation.
